On “Cowboys & Cosmonauts”, LOS SANTOS pay homage to the space fantasies and the sound of the 1960s. They combine shimmering organs, analog effects, guitars with a lot of twang, exotic rhythms, the occasional use of a horn section and enchanting duet singing with stories of spaceships, the search for happiness in the depths of space and of great love and burning passion that unfortunately triggers an atomic chain reaction.
